An ideal time to start using a Grobag baby sleep bag is when your baby weighs more than 8 lbs 8oz (0-6 mths size). It is very important to check that your baby’s head cannot pass through the neck-hole when the Grobag is fastened for use. Grobag baby sleeping bags are available in three tog ratings: 2.5 tog Ideal for standard room temperatures of 16-20 degrees C (61-69 degrees F) 1.0 tog Use during warmer weather and in rooms of 20-24 degrees C (69-73 degrees F) 0.5 tog For hot weather and very warm environments of 24-27 degree C (73-80 degrees F) Please note: A number of external factors determine the tog rating of the sleeping bag that should be used. These include the quantity of clothing the baby is wearing, the temperature of the infant's bedroom, the baby's health, and the amount of bedding necessary to keep an individual infant warm – this may vary as it does for adults. CompositionGrobag® baby sleeping bags come in a variety of soft fabrics, and all of the designs have cotton lining to go next to your baby's skin. They are available in woven cotton, organic cotton, soft cotton jersey, luxurious velour, and soft anti-pill fleece. 1.0 and 0.5 tog grobag® baby sleeping bags are made of 100% cotton, as there is no filling on the lighter weight togs. Washing informationGrobag® baby sleeping bags can be washed at 105°F and tumble dried on a low heat setting. As with all cotton goods, the baby sleeping bags have been designed to allow for up to 5% shrinkage. Experience has shown that it is usually best to buy 2 grobag® baby sleeping bags – one to wear and one for the wash. To ensure the long life of your baby sleeping bag, the zipper must be in the closed position throughout washing, tumble drying, and ironing. It is also advisable to turn the product inside out before washing. Do not iron over the zipper.
